Lesser Birds of Paradise

Chicago’s eclectic rock and roll quintet the Lesser Parrots of Heaven features Tag Janka, Greg Thomas, Tony Bianchi, Angela Standhardt, and Tim Joyce. The group started as vocalist/songwriter Janka’s single task, but he quickly recruited close friends from other regional rings to augment his tracks with details of accordion, lap metal, musical noticed, ukulele, clarinet, examples, and other uncommon flourishes. The band’s debut, THE RIGHT Frame, found its way to middle-2000 on Loose Thread Recordings. 2 yrs later on, they released their second LP with maker Barry Phipps behind the planks, IT IS NOT the Fall.
