Lesette Wilson

NY pianist/producer/songwriter Lesette Wilson got her start being a fusion and jazz-rock performer. She was a highlighted keyboardist on Tom Browne’s Like Strategy LP in 1980, notably on his big strike “Funkin’ For Jamaica.” That resulted in a solo cope with Headfirst Information, and Wilson’s GIVEN THAT I’ve Got Your Attention was released in 1981. She teamed with vocalist Meli’sa Morgan in 1986 being a article writer and manufacturer. Wilson done such singles as “Perform You Still Like Me” and both albums, Perform Me Baby and Great Like. She also co-wrote and created Genobia Jeter’s “MOST OF My Like,” and recorded another one for the Some-1 label “CONSIDER Tomorrow.” Wilson also documented with Roy Ayers on his Middle Of The Globe LP with Fela Anikulapo-Kuti in 1981, and with Najee and Steven Dante. Her latest discharge was for Atlantic in 1993, Unmasked.
