Les Shelleys

Reclaiming the simplicity and purity of tone of voice and classical guitar for the 21st century, Les Shelleys are singer/songwriter Tom Brosseau and singer/songwriter Angela Correa. Brosseau pursued an identical musical route in his single career, launching albums of extra folk for the United kingdom label FatCat, while Correa also performed in the indie pop task Correatown. The set fulfilled when filmmaker/songwriter Gregory Web page released them in 2002, plus they started playing renditions of tracks by Leadbelly, Woody Guthrie, Sister Tharpe, and various other folk greats immediately after. After many years of cooperation that included a Tom Brosseau/Correatown/Les Shelleys tour in the U.K., the duo released it is self-titled debut record this year 2010.
