In 2005, Les Savy Fav announced these were happening an indefinite hiatus, but their sabbatical didn’t last for very long. By past due 2006, the music group reconvened to begin with recording a fresh album, and in-may 2007 they came back to the level at the English All Tomorrow’s Celebrations event. Let’s Stay Close friends premiered by Frenchkiss in nov 2007, and received enthusiastic evaluations; it also discovered the music group welcoming a fresh guitarist, Andrew Reuland, and dealing with several guest music artists, including Toko Yasuda of Enon and Blonde Redhead, Eleanor Friedberger from the Fiery Furnaces, and comedian and percussionist Fred Armisen.
