Les Innocents

Among France’s esteemed pop works, Les Innocents were a jangly pop music group that released four albums between 1989 and 1999, which displayed its market leaders’ (J.P. Nataf and Jean-Christophe Urbain) good songwriting abilities and musical workmanship. Their profession was boosted in 1987 from the success of the “Jodie” solitary, and their 1st three LPs spawned a great many other strikes, from “Colore” to “El Autre Finistère.” Though those 1st LPs (1989’s Cent Metres au Paradis, 1992’s Fous ? Lier, and 1995’s Post Partum) covered the band’s recognition, the commercial failing of their 4th and last LP (1999’s Les Innocents) initiated a parting procedure, J.P. Nataf heading single to explore fresh musical and lyrical territories. A career-spanning compilation premiered in 2003 (Meilleurs Souvenirs), and a decade after their last studio room recording, rumors of the reunion tour pass on. They re-formed in 2015 and released Mandarine.
