Leroy

Using the success of such genre-busting artists as Beck, it suddenly became “okay” to let many music styles seep into the sound — rap, funk, punk, folk, blues, folk, etc. 2001 noticed the self-titled debut discharge from Leroy, and upon initial listen, it’s apparent that he’s been motivated by Beck’s melting-pot rock and roll style. A indigenous of Spokane, WA, Leroy was fired up to the traditional rock noises of Santana, Jimi Hendrix, and Elton John young via his parents’ record collection. With dreams of rock and roll stardom blossoming after picking right up your guitar, he relocated to LA in the first ’90s. After many years of having to pay dues playing night clubs and functioning dead-end careers, Leroy was agreed upon to Hollywood in 1999. Prior to the discharge of his 2001 self-titled debut, his tracks had currently popped up in films (10 Points I Hate About You) and Television shows (Felicity).
