Leonard Gonzalez

The successful career of singer/guitarist Leonard González (blessed Leonardo González) began with La Mafia, a favorite Houston-based outfit assembled with Oscar González in 1986. Their eponymous debut record premiered that same season and accompanied by the top-selling Estas Tocando Fuego and triple-platinum Ahora con Siempre. After his departure from La Mafia, vocalist Daniel Alvarez, drummer Pepe Delfin, bassist Adolfo Alonzo, accordionist Gerardo Gómez, and keyboardist Eric Rodríguez became a member of him to create a Tejano/Latin pop music group known as Los Magnificos, producing their debut using the discharge of Cuenta Conmigo.
