Leon Jean-Marie

London-based singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Leon Jean-Marie caused a stir in 2008 when he debuted about Island Records with an R&B- and funk-influenced design of pop that often drew comparisons to Prince. Jean-Marie’s debut recording, Bent Out of Form (2008), featuring creation work by Tag Ronson and Bloodshy, was preceded from the release from the singles “Bed of Toenails” and “TAKE IT On.” He advertised the recording with live shows within the Wonky Pop tour with Alphabeat and Frankmusik, plus a performance in the Glastonbury Festival and assisting times with Estelle.
