Leny is a bachata-pop vocalist from your Dominican Republic who also embarked on the solo profession in 2008 after many years of achievement in the merengue group Ilegales. Given birth to Leydin Pímentel in San José de Ocoa, Dominican Republic, the bachatero analyzed piano in college while carrying out in Pimentel Music group, a musical group led by his dad. At age group 15 Leny became a member of the merengue quartet Sin Fronteras and was consequently recruited to become listed on a more well-known merengue take action, Ilegales, by business lead vocalist, songwriter, and manufacturer Vladimir Dotel in 2001, a couple of years after the loss of life of group member Jason González within an car accident. Leny produced his Ilegales documenting debut on Marca Registrada (2002) and songwriting debut in the follow-up record, In the area (2004), adding the hit one “No Queda Nada.” Pursuing another Ilegales record, La Republica (2006), he embarked on the solo career, producing his full-length record debut with One (2008) on General Music Latino. Made by Dotel, who co-wrote a lot of the tracks with Leny, the record spawned the strike one “Ayer Cuando Te Vi.”
