Lenola

Lenola began in 1994 because the four-track task of guitarist/vocalist Jay Laughlin, but evolved right into a full-fledged music group later that season by adding guitarist David Grubb and drummer Sean Byrne, whom Laughlin initial met as the 3 were playing in a variety of hardcore outfits within their native NJ. Following addition of bassist Scott Colan, Lenola released some singles independently Tappersize label before issuing their full-length debut THE FINAL 10 Feet from the Suicide Mile, which spotlighted the group’s guitar-drenched audio, in past due 1996. Their second record, The Swerving Corpse, found its way to late 1997; the next year, Lenola collected songs that they had documented inbetween albums onto two EPs, The Resurrection from the Close-Up in the Magic I’m all over this Fuzzy Container and YOUR DAY the Laughter Smelled on Blackbeanandplacenta.
