Lenola

Lenola began in 1994 because the four-track task of guitarist/vocalist Jay Laughlin, but evolved right into a full-fledged music group later that season by adding guitarist David Grubb and drummer Sean Byrne, whom Laughlin initial met as the 3 were playing in a variety of hardcore outfits within their native NJ. Following addition of bassist Scott Colan, Lenola released some singles independently Tappersize label before issuing their full-length debut THE FINAL 10 Feet from the Suicide Mile, which spotlighted the group’s guitar-drenched audio, in past due 1996. Their second record, The Swerving Corpse, found its way to late 1997; the next year, Lenola collected songs that they had documented inbetween albums onto two EPs, The Resurrection from the Close-Up in the Magic I’m all over this Fuzzy Container and YOUR DAY the Laughter Smelled on Blackbeanandplacenta. My Invisible Name implemented in 1999, but additionally proclaimed the Lenola’s last for Tappersize. The brand new millennium saw the discharge of Deal with Me for some Life in springtime 2001.
