Formerly an associate from the merenhouse group Ilegales, Lenny Medina pursued a far more pure pop sound when it came time and energy to issue his solo debut. Merging his own initial compositions along with his easy vocals, energy and contagious rhythms, his singles, “Yo Quiero el Beso,” and “Vuela Alto,” helped make the recording, entitled Tu Me Completas, popular around the Latin graphs. The title track, added by great composer Rudy Perez, helped fortify the recording and lent it an enchanting advantage. His self-titled sophomore work was released in early 2001.
