Lena

A primary descendent of Cuban singers Elena Burke and Marlena Burke — her grandmother and mom, respectively — in addition to daughter of manufacturer Rey Nerio, Lena Pérez knew from an early on age that she wished to be considered a musician. Blessed in Havana, Lena had taken both electric guitar and traditional piano lessons as a kid, discovering that her real love lay within the last mentioned. Also thinking about tone of voice, she perfected her abilities performing backup on albums for performers like Gloria Estefan, Julio Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez, Thalía, Jaci Velasquez, Chayanne, and Alejandro Sanz. Despite her familial cable connections, it was ending up in the last mentioned, however, that established her career being a vocalist and performer into movement. Sanz was therefore impressed using the music Lena sang for him that he presented her to individuals at Warner Music Latina, who shortly signed the youthful Cuban.
