Lemonade

A trio of self-professed record geeks surviving in Brooklyn by method of SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, Lemonade fuse post-punk and Eurodance within their souped-up dance revival. After their proceed to NY in Oct of 2008, they began creating sequences using Ableton Go on a notebook. The bandmates brought their particular backgrounds towards the combine, with Ben Steidel incorporating home components, Alex Pasternak attracting a worldly percussive taste, and Callan Clendenin adding airiness with ambient consumer electronics. As the documenting process advanced, the members started swapping designs, overlapping tips, and incorporating live instrumentation. After stacking their music with live bass, percussion, and vocals, the rhythmic, genre-spanning audio of their demonstration caught the hearing of Television on the air, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and !!! manufacturer Chris Coady, who documented the music group’s self-titled full-length. After putting your signature on to Accurate Panther, the trio transformed up their audio drastically, heading the chillwave path with soft, serene vocals for 2012’s Diver. They continuing down an extremely electro-pop route for 2014’s jubilant third recording Minus Tide.
