Lemaitre

Lemaitre can be an electronic duo hailing from Oslo, Norway. Shaped this year 2010 by longtime close friends Ketil Jansen and Ulrik Denizou Lund, the bandmembers called themselves after Belgian priest Georges Lemaître, dad from the big bang theory. It’s a proper reference because of their sound, which runs from electro home to catchy pop grooves that fall somewhere within Daft Punk and Phoenix. Having a mix of consumer electronics, live musical instruments, and a solid vocal existence, they provided up their initial EP, The Friendly Audio, this year 2010. 2 yrs later, a set of EPs implemented known as Relativity 1 and 2, the last mentioned which reached number 1 for the U.S. and Canadian graphs for digital digital albums in 2012. Carrying on to strike as the iron was popular, they implemented up in 2013 with Relativity 3 and a remix collection, Relativity by Nite. In early 2014, it had been announced that Lemaitre got agreed upon with Astralwerks release a the catchy, dance-oriented Singularity EP, which highlighted hip-hop manufacturer Chuck Inglish. Another short-form discharge, 1749, was released in early 2016.
