Lem Chaheb

Through the 1970s, Lem Chaheb had been the very best known & most westernized of Morocco’s chaabi rings, both qualities becoming the consequence of their long-time collaboration using the Berlin-based experimental outfit Dissidenten, who offered the Moroccans with synthesizer backup and European exposure. Their best-known strike, “Palestine,” was a pan-Arabic achievement. The group split up in the ’80s.
