Leigh Ashford

Formed within a Toronto senior high school in 1966 by vocalist Hype Sherman, guitarist Gord Waszek, bassists Joe Agnello and Don Elliot, drummer Wally Cameron and keyboard player Newton Gerard, Leigh Ashford performed to get a year before they became a member of the Spirit to be the Spirit Revue. When that music group split up in 1968, Leigh Ashford re-formed, authorized with Nimbus 9 and documented their self-titled debut in 1971. The group split the same yr.
