Alexander Addicus and Rupert J. Lloyd possess used their warped visions of ambient breakbeat, dub and trip-hop to sampling experimentation under such messed-up aliases as Zeuxis & the Painted Grapes, Empirical Sleeping Consort, Alkahest and, frequently, Legion of Green Males. Located in the fairly peaceful metropolis of Burlington, Ontario, the duo created their very own Post Modern label in the first ’90s and structured around a creation team called Incarnate. Two 1994 produces as Legion of Green Males, the solitary “Midnight Genius” and debut LP Spatial Particular, gained Addicus and Lloyd a little bit of trustworthiness around the united states and offered them a record-distribution offer through fellow Canadian Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 label.
