However the Tupelo, Mississippi-based Spiritual QC’s have existed in a few form since 1968, it wasn’t before later ’90s that they began documenting and getting their due as an experienced traditional-styled black gospel group. And it wasn’t until 1998 which the group began billing lead vocalist Lee Williams prior to the Religious QC’s name. The group comprised for lost period, at least inside a studio room recording feeling, with successive Billboard-charting albums released through the entire middle-2010s. Williams started carrying out gospel music as youthful as age group eight, when his uncle — an associate of an organization known as the Gospel Celebrities — come up with the Gospel Celebrities Junior, a friend group offering Williams and his three brothers. Williams’ uncle also shaped a group known as the Religious QC’s in 1962 (QC’s standing up for “certified Christian performers”), so when this clothing split up in 1968, Williams got the name for his personal group at that time, where he also performed lead acoustic guitar. Through contacts with their close friends the Gospel Four, the Religious QC’s got into the studio room to record their initial CD, Jesus Is normally Alive and Well, in 1996; associates from the Gospel Four supplied instrumental support, and their business lead vocalist George Dean created the record. Another album, Love GOES Completely, made an appearance in 1998, as well as the group — today billed as Lee Williams & the Religious QC’s — toured thoroughly behind it.
