Lee Oskar

Harmonica participant and vocalist Lee Oskar was a charter person in Battle in the past due ’60s, once the Western Coast group initial backed Eric Burdon and later on went out independently. His prolonged wailing solos became an essential section of War’s funk/rock and roll/Latin sound within the ’70s and ’80s. He produced two undistinguished fusion albums like a leader within the ’80s and even though he continued to be an integral part of Battle, Oskar produced his single debut in 1976 and documented many albums of solid pop-jazz, R&B, and fusion, included in this 1978’s fine Prior to the Rainfall and 1980’s My Street, Our Road.
