Brooklyn pianist and vocalist/songwriter Lee Feldman could just be the musically older and wiser kin from the artistically witty Ben Folds, for both are romantics gushing with self-loathing, dread, and pondering like queries. Alas, such despair produces quick, punchy pop music. Jazz and classically qualified, Feldman gracefully actions in to the brassy chamber of pop melodies and traditional compositions with multi-talented abilities for playing bass, drums, clarinet, strings, and accordion. He individually released his debut, Living EVERYTHING Incorrect, in 1996 and experienced it found by PURE a 12 months later. Glowing compliment rolled in from your press, but a significant label merger including Common was a darkness in the wake of his achievement. Such chaos resulted in Feldman’s decision to start out his personal label, Bonafide Information, in 1998. Feldman’s second work, The Man inside a Jupiter Hat, adopted two years later on.
