Lee Dallon

Lee Dallon joined up with with bassist/vocalist Robbie Watson, guitarists/vocalists Ian Taylor and Martin Finley, drummer Paul Spencer, vocalist Chris Gent and second keyboardist Tommy Eyre to create the hard-hitting red music group, the Speedometers, in 1977. Although they documented three unforgettable EPs –Disgrace in 1977, Liverpool Women in 1978 and Tonight Tonightin 1979 and one full-length record, Time In The Lighting in 1979, the Speedometers’s heavy-bashing audio didn’t sell as well as the group disbanded. 1 of 2 key pad players in the Speedometers, Dallon was struggling to make the changeover to a single profession and faded into obscurity following band’s break-up.
