Lee Coombs

Internationally popular British-born breaks DJ/producer Lee Coombs is most beneficial known for his affiliation with Finger Lickin’ Records from 1998-2005, where time he scored the crossover club smash “Shiver.” Coombs 1st started DJing in 1989 amid the acidity home scene then focused in London. He produced his creation debut in 1991 in cooperation with Nick Annies. Billing themselves because the Unseen Males, Coombs and Annies released a set of EPs (The Self Engage EP, 1991; Overindulge, 1992) on Orbital Information before switching to a fresh moniker, Exodus to Heaven, and liberating another couple of EPs (Roc-Et/Rhyde the Rithum, 1992; Pump the Jam/Deep Blue, 1993), this time around on the label of their very own, Paradise Information. Two years later on Coombs and Annies founded another label, Pumpin’ Vinyl fabric, which they released Rock-It (2005), acknowledged to Exodus to Heaven; Energy Trax (2005), acknowledged to their most recent moniker, Energiser; and Experience It (1996), acknowledged exclusively to Coombs. Through the following few years, Coombs broke from Annies, collaborated with Jeremy Norris as Frog Junkies for the Aura Encompass Sounds release Air flow Acoustic guitar (1997), collaborated also with Nick Slater and Kevin Lancaster as Freakazoids for some produces on Zoid Recordings, and began a label of his very own, Thrust Recordings, which he released single productions under several monikers. Moreover, however, Coombs became a member of the ranks from the fledgling label Finger Lickin’ Information and produced his single production debut for the label with Sky Juice (1998), accompanied by other 12″ EP produces. The label also released Upcoming Sound of Vintage (2001), his initial official DJ combine record. Afterward, Coombs was contacted by Paul Oakenfold to record a likewise styled combine record, Perfecto Breaks (2002), and he was commissioned for remixes of New Purchase and Moby. Coombs eventually left the rates of Finger Lickin’ Information within the wake of Breakfast time of Champions (2004), a full-length record, and “Shiver,” the crossover membership smash through the album which was certified for launch in 2005 from the prominent home label Azuli. Upon departing, he restored his concentrate on the label he’d founded many years prior, Thrust Recordings, liberating the blend album The Property from the Monkey Snake (2006) onto it. A few years later on, after relocating from Britain to Florida, Coombs aligned himself with Great deal49, debuting around the label in 2008 using the blend album Great deal49 Presents Lee Coombs.
