LaWanda Lindsey

b. 12 January 1953, Tampa, Florida, USA. Lindsey’s family members transferred to Savannah, Georgia, immediately after her delivery; her dad was the supervisor of an area nation music radio place and performed on air along with his group the Dixie Showboys. From age five, Lindsey was highlighted with the music group. Conway Twitty was impressed by her skill and, through his help, she agreed upon with Chart Information in 1967.
