Laura Minor

Laura Small began her music profession after moving to Gainesville, FL, where she met fellow vocalist/songwriter Jared Flamm. Small had long regarded as herself a significant writer and experienced in fact go to Gainesville to focus on a publication. Yet after performing Gram Parsons’ “Come back from the Grievous Angel” with Flamm at a celebration in Apr 2001, both started adapting her composing, especially her poems, into tunes. Immediately after reinventing herself like a music performer, she required her songwriting to another level and authorized with HighTone Information. She caused David Lowery (Cracker, Camper Vehicle Beethoven) and Brian Paulson (Beck, Uncle Tupelo) on her behalf debut recording, Salesman’s Woman (2002). Lowery created and Paulson-engineered the recording, which mixes rock and roll with nation and includes many songs that research her experiences we were young in Florida.
