Just one yr after moving to LA to jump-start her music profession, Dutch singer/songwriter and pianist Laura Jansen recorded her debut EP, the five-song Stress. Frequent appearances about L.A. gained her an evergrowing group of fans that extended across THE UNITED STATES, and in August, 2007 among her tunes, “Soljah,” managed to get onto among the shows of MTV’s Newport Harbor, a string predicated on the effective Laguna Beach present. In ’09 2009, her One Girls EP will be released in Holland. That same season, all of those other globe received Bells, an record that mixed her two previously released EPs and added a recently documented cover of Kings of Leon’s “Make use of Someone.” Jansen’s second full-length studio room record, the dreamy, beat-driven Elba, was made by British songwriter and manufacturer Matt Hales (Aqualung) and released in early 2013.
