Laura Burgo, a self-taught vocalist and songwriter, was created in the tiny city of Pawtucket, RI, and raised in St. Louis. She was raised in a house filled up with music, because of her mom, another music enthusiast. The youthful Burgo began composing songs and performing young. In senior high school she became a member of her first stone band, and started performing in night clubs, very much to her mom and father’s dismay.
