Lauma Skride is a Latvian pianist. Elevated within a musical family members with her sisters, violinist Baiba Skride and violist Linda Skride, she started acquiring piano lessons at age group 5. Following research on the Academy of Music in Riga, she inserted the School of Music and Theater in Hamburg, where she examined with Volker Banfield.
