This UK, Manchester-based group first appeared using the punchy, guitar-dominated ‘Take YOUR TIME AND EFFORT, Yeah!’, featured on the flexi-disc distributed free using the town’s Debris mag in 1986. In November of the same season the monitor fronted their initial vinyl single in the Remorse label, but though it was well received, Have a good laugh had to hold back until August the next season before their second providing made an appearance, a decidedly poppy work entitled ‘Paul McCartney’. This have been previewed on the 1986 program for disk jockey John Peel off, and also highlighted the help of Smiths guitarist Craig Gannon. After ‘Period To Lose’ in 1988, which reached the united kingdom Independent Best 30, the music group shifted to the short-lived Sub Aqua label for Feeling No. 1, the name of both album and an individual. Neither produced any significant influence and Martin Mittler (bass), Spencer Birtwhistle (drums), Ian Bendelow (electric guitar) and Martin Wright (electric guitar/vocals) rethought their technique, later emerging being a dance outfit.
