Laub

An experimental indie/digital act located in Berlin, Laub was shaped in the middle-’90s by developers Antye Greie-Fuchs and Von Jotka. The set debuted in 1997 using the Kopflastig LP, released on Kitty-Yo — house to companion functions like Tarwater and Gonzalez, as well as the site of Greie-Fuchs’ day time work. After adding percussionist Sebastian Vogel, Laub came back in 1999 with Unter Anderen Bedingungen Als Liebe and an associated remix recording, Intuition. In the mean time in 2002, Greie-Fuchs and Jotka released the beautiful Filesharing, an aptly entitled record of songs created primarily from the suppliers passing audio recordings via the web.
