Swedish dansband Lars-Kristerz rose to fame in 2008 about the television display Dansbandskampen and skilled chart-topping success the next year using the album Hem Till Drill down. Founded in 2001 in Älvdalen, Sweden, the music group is made up of Stefan Nykvist (vocals, piano, accordion), Peter Larsson (vocals, tempo acoustic guitar), Kent Lindén (vocals, accordion, body organ), Trond Korsmoe (business lead acoustic guitar), Morgan Korsmoe (bass), Mikael Eriksson (drums), and Torbjörn Eriksson (body organ). Lars-Kristerz produced their recording debut in 2003 with Stuffparty 1, accompanied by Stuffparty 2 in 2004 and Stuffparty 3 in 2007. In 2008 the music group made an appearance on Dansbandskampen, which it competed against various other dansbands and completed as the show’s first-place champion. Upon earning first place in the show’s period finale in Dec 2008, the music group was provided a major-label documenting agreement with Sony Music. In ’09 2009 Lars-Kristerz produced their major-label debut using the one “Carina,” a chart-topping strike that the music group got previously performed in the growing season finale bout of Dansbandskampen. The also chart-topping record Hem Till Drill down (2009) premiered quickly thereafter and spawned the follow-up strike one “Purple Rainfall,” a cover edition of Prince’s 1984 smash strike that the music group got also performed in the growing season finale bout of Dansbandskampen. Various other curious options of cover materials on Hem Right up until Drill down include Weapons N’ Roses’ “Lovely Kid o’ Mine,” Stevie Wonder’s “Yester-Me, Yester-You, Last night,” and Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not really Likely to Take It.”
