Larry Taylor

Best known while the bassist for Canned Temperature between 1967-1970, Brooklyn-born Larry Taylor has already established an extended and distinguished profession being a program musician. Starting his professional profession by touring with Jerry Lee Lewis when he was 18, Taylor ultimately became the citizen bassist for most from the Monkees’ periods, including the strikes “Last Teach to Clarksville” and “(Theme From) The Monkees.” After signing up for seminal West Coastline blues group Canned High temperature, Taylor became the bassist for John Mayall’s initial all-American backing music group over the United kingdom blues musician’s USA Union record. During his 30-plus-year profession Taylor has provided bass lines for everybody from Tom Waits to Albert Ruler and Small Milton. He also founded Larry Joe Taylor’s Annual Tx Music Celebration, which ran for quite some time.
