b. 7 Oct 1940, Swainsboro, Georgia, USA. Among the definitive nation spirit singer-songwriters from the 70s, Wilson was a traditional past due bloomer. He didn’t start playing electric guitar until the age group of 30, but five years afterwards in 1975 he released his debut, New Origins, in the Monument Information label, house of Kris Kristofferson and nation spirit pioneer Tony Joe Light. Wilson was instantly embraced within the middle-70s outlaw nation motion that eschewed slick creation towards a fresh, gritty approach.
