Larry Finnegan

Biography

b. Johnny Lawrence Finnegan, 10 August 1938, NEW YORK, NY, USA, d. 22 July 1973. Finnegan almost reached the very best 10 in 1962 with an individual known as ‘Dear One’, but never really had another strike. Having studied many tools in his youngsters, Finnegan and his sibling Vinnie co-wrote the music that would place him within the graphs in 1961. He documented a demo from the song by himself and got it to Hy Weiss of Aged Town Information, who then authorized him. The up-tempo nation song eventually reached quantity 11 in early 1962, but follow-up efforts failed, and in 1966 Finnegan shifted to Sweden, where he began his personal record label, Svensk-American. Then shifted to Switzerland and returned to the united states in 1970, where he passed away of a mind tumour in 1973.
