LANY

Los Angeles-based trio LANY was formed in Nashville in 2014 by 3 close friends: Paul Jason Klein from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Leslie Priest and Jake Goss from Nashville. Crafting dreamy pop with an R&B soul, the users of LANY analyzed music in university and so are multi-instrumentalists. Throughout a trip from L.A. to Nashville, Klein installed with Priest and Goss, who have been focusing on their personal task, WRLDS. They made a decision to begin something new collectively and LANY was created. The band’s name (pronounced “Lay-nee”) is usually a nod to LA and NY, marking their wish to pass on their music everywhere. That music combines the experience of ’80s radio pop, ’90s R&B spirit, and atmospheric synths. They documented their 1st two tunes — “Warm Lamps” and “LEAVE” — in four times. Carrying on a prolific streak, they released the three-song debut EP Acronyms as well as the five-track I Loved You. They continuing to create a pursuing while on the highway, touring with Troye Sivan, Ellie Goulding, Halsey, and X Ambassadors. The group ultimately authorized with Polydor Information in Dec 2015. They released another EP, the six-track FIND OUT, which culled songs from their earlier releases, like the track “ILYSB” (“I REALLY LIKE You SO VERY BAD”). The track was popular online, achieving over 14 million channels. While LANY embarked on a global tour in 2016, they released “Where in fact the Hell Are My Close friends.” That one would later show up on the kinda EP, that was released in June that same season. Their self-titled debut record implemented in 2017.
