Lani Hall


The original tone of voice of Sergio Mendes’ Brasil ’66, singer Lani Hall was also the wife of trumpeter and A&M Information co-founder Natural herb Alpert. Upon exiting Brasil ’66, she produced her single debut in 1974 using the LP Sundown Female; some produces including 1975’s Hello It’s Me, 1977’s Sweetbird and 1979’s Increase or Nothing implemented, but after showing up for the soundtrack towards the 1983 Adam Bond film Under no circumstances Say Never Once again, Hall largely vanished through the recording picture, resurfacing and then make the casual cameo appearance on her behalf husband’s recordings. Nevertheless, the rise of Latin pop through the 1990s motivated Hall to come back to the studio room, and in 1998 she released Brasil Nativo.
