Ambient drift rock-band Landing were shaped in 1998 by wedded few Aaron and Adrienne Snow, two musicians who met at Brigham Youthful College or university and moved to Connecticut following graduating. Getting started being a duo beneath the name Might Getting, keyboardist Adrienne and guitarist Aaron had been eventually joined up with by drummer/bassist Daron Gardner and guitarist/bassist Dick Baldwin, and down the road by multi-instrumentalist Peter Baumann (frequently erroneously recognised incorrectly as the previous Tangerine Dream person in the same name). Getting quickly go about documenting their dark, ambient fantasy pop, leading to many cassette and EP produces including, notably, their 1999 debut EP Centrefuge. Their early function was stylistically near that of contemporaries like Traveling Saucer Strike, Bowery Electric powered, and Windy & Carl, with buried vocals and washes of loud texture riding gradual, drawn-out rhythms. The entire year 2001 brought the discharge of their debut full-length, Circuit (Music Fellowship), their second full-length discharge, Oceanless (Unusual Attractors Audio Home), and a divide EP with Windy & Carl (also on Music Fellowship). Prolific within their early days, Getting followed another year with Periods (Ba Da Bing), aswell as many EPs of brand-new materials. Two albums on venerable indie label K Information arrived over another 2 yrs, Passages Through in 2003 and Sphere in 2004. They came back to Unusual Attractors with 2005’s Brocade before issuing limited LP Gravitational IV on Formula Information in 2006. After a hiatus, they surfaced in ’09 2009 using a 7″ around the Geographic North label, which preceded a self-titled full-length in 2012. At this time the band experienced switched up regular membership relatively, with Baldwin no more in the music group and multi-instrumentalist John Miller becoming a member of. Always collecting songs in the extended-play solitary format, Landing released two fresh EPs after their come back, Influx Lair in 2012 and II another year. Following a 2015 EP Body Diffuser on Vast Arc Hues, the full-length Third View premiered by Un Paraiso in 2016.
