Biography
The First Woman of Dancehall, Woman Saw is really a Jamaican bad girl with lots more attitude and sex appeal than hip-hop mistresses like Lil’ Kim and Foxy Dark brown, plus one of the very most distinguishing images in reggae. Created in 1972 in the tiny Jamaican town of St. Mary’s, Marion Hall authorized to the Jamaican grassroots label VP Information and debuted in 1994 with Enthusiast Girl. Lady Noticed soon demonstrated she was as much as the task of Jamaica’s rudest young boys by teaming up with Shabba Rates on the solitary “WANT TO BUY Tonight.” Her second recording, Give Me the reason why, was accompanied by 1997’s Enthusiasm, which presented her X-rated vocal swaggering on duets with Shaggy (“Mr. Enthusiast Enthusiast”) and Beenie Guy (“Curing”). The recording was her most widely used, prompting the 1998 launch of two greatest-hits deals, Collection and Uncooked: THE VERY BEST of Lady Noticed. In 2004 she released Remove Tease, then 3 years later on the ambitious GO OUT. This year 2010 she shaped her personal label, Divas Information, which released her recording My Method that same yr.
