Lacey Sturm

Lacey Sturm (nee Mosley) increased to fame in the first aughts using the hard rock-band Flyleaf. Her exclusive tone of voice and shiver-inducing screams helped propel Flyleaf to multi-platinum achievement with hard rock and roll hits “I’m Therefore Ill” and “I AM SORRY.” Using the music group, she released three albums and an EP before amicably parting methods in 2012 to spotlight family and beliefs. As a single artist, she added several tracks to wide-ranging beneficiaries, through the Underworld: Awakening soundtrack (2012’s “Large Victim”) to a compilation motivated by Christian evangelist Billy Graham (2013’s “THE REASON WHY” and “Mercy Tree”). In 2014, she released her initial reserve, a memoir entitled THE REASON WHY: How I CAME ACROSS a Life Worthy of Living (Baker Books) about her religious trip and Christian beliefs. The forwards was compiled by Korn’s Brian “Mind” Welch, himself a vocal evangelical Christian, who, along with Sturm, can be area of the Whosoevers, a youth-focused positivity motion that also matters P.O.D.’s Sonny Sandoval as an associate. A season after her publication debuted, Sturm came back to her hard rock and roll roots, documenting her debut LP, Lifestyle Screams, with spouse/guitarist Josh Sturm, Skillet’s Korey Cooper, and ex-Evanescence member David Hodges. Located in Pittsburgh, Pa, Sturm’s single support was curved out by Tom Gascon on drums and Ben Hull on bass. Initial single “Difficult” mixed her unmistakable tone of voice — a howling person in the Karen O, Brody Dalle, and Amy Lee pantheon — with chugging blasts of acoustic guitar that’ll be familiar to her Flyleaf group of fans. Life Screams premiered in Feb 2016.
