La Séptima Banda

La Séptima Banda is a big 17-piece group which has a number of regional Mexican music, from bandas and cumbias to rancheras and their area of expertise, narcocorridos. The group started playing jointly in 1994 beneath the name Banda San Luis and documented two albums for Sony Mexico. Neither record charted and La Banda still left the label. After very much deliberation, the associates unanimously made a decision to transformation their name to Banda la Aventurera. More than the next many years, they released four separately released albums by Hyphy Music, three which were compiled by Espinoza Paz (all possess eventually been reissued beneath the La Séptima Banda moniker). In 2014, the group transformed names again, getting La Séptima Banda, and agreed upon to Fonovisia. Their initial recording was support Enigma Norteño over the one “Narco de Narcos.” The band’s very own debut, Segurito Segurito, premiered in the springtime of 2015, prefaced with the one “Bonito y Bello.” The next calendar year, the group released A Todo Volumen, topping the Latin graphs. Micha con Micha — “half and half” — found its way to 2017. As the name suggests, the LP was divide between studio monitors like “Se Defiende” and “La Bruta” and live recordings like “Un Narco de Narcos” and “Un Chapo Barrial.”
