LA Priest (pronounced Lah Preest) may be the single project of Uk electronic musician Samuel Eastgate, who in addition has worked beneath the name Sam Dirt. Although he in the beginning released the LA Priest task in 2007 having a 12” launch on Erol Alkan’s Phantasy label, he’s most widely known as the frontman for Castle Donington-based digital art rockers Past due from the Pier, who released one extremely acclaimed LP, Dream Black Route, in 2008, and a small number of singles prior to going on hiatus this year 2010.
