Another side task of the complicated world that revolves around Damien Youth, Kyte may be the duo of Damien Youth and Robyn Great. The misunderstandings? Well, they expenses themselves as the Kyte Brothers, Archie and Scott Kyte, upon this launch. Also, the set has recorded collectively as both Shock Symphony and Magic Isle. The difference here’s that Damien Youngsters requires the lead vocals, rather than Robyn Good, who do the vocals for the Shock Symphony and Magic Isle. Whatever, Kyte’s self-titled 1998 recording is definitely pleasing, haunting 1990s psychedelia with weighty echoes of Donovan and Red Floyd, and understandable commonalities to the Shock Symphony and Magic Isle projects.
