Cambridge vocalist/songwriter Kyan Kuatois quickly drew evaluations to Frank Sea on the launch of his debut EP The Crimson Test in 2014. Having trained himself piano when he was young, he was ultimately forced to select between his three enjoys; performing, music, and golf ball — which he previously played at nationwide level. Establishing his heart on the profession in music he lowered his surname, and his first flavor of the limelight came this year 2010 when he was a contestant on Sky 1’s Should be the Music, where he reached the semi-finals. Pursuing that achievement, he continued to collaborate with well-known music artists like Duke Dumont and Benga. The hype encircling the artist resulted in him becoming signed to Virgin EMI, and his second EP Remote View found its way to 2015. The business lead single “Occasionally” epitomized the type of deeply soulful digital music that Kyan was creating, but despite becoming warmly received within the music press he and his label would quickly part methods, which resulted in his next task becoming self-funded. In 2017, he released a Kickstarter marketing campaign to fund Nothing at all Beyond, which he referred to as a “visible mixtape.”
