Kutless

Kutless, a Christian choice band focusing on melodic hard rock, released their self-titled debut in BEC Recordings in 2002. The group, which includes Adam Mead (electric guitar), Nathan “Stu” Stuart (bass), Kyle Mitchell (drums), Ryan Shrout (electric guitar), and Jon Micah Sumrall (vocals), arrived collectively in Portland, Oregon in 1999, motivated by such Christian rock and roll predecessors as the Supertones aswell as mainstream contemporary rockers like Staind, Creed, and Incubus. The seed products of the music group had been sown when Stuart relocated to Portland from his indigenous North Dakota to wait university, where he fulfilled Sumrall, Mitchell, and Shrout. All the users of Kutless went to the same chapel, Athey Creek, where they started playing music collectively. They soon made a decision to forego university to focus on their music profession, moving into an organization home where they hosted cellar party gigs. The music group headlined such jaunts as the Intense Days tour and frequently played occasions to advantage battered females and kids and cancers victims. The group’s albums, all released by BEC Recordings, consist of Kutless (2002), Ocean of Encounters (2004), Solid Tower (2005), Hearts from the Innocent (2006), Live from Portland (also from 2006), TO LEARN YOU ARE Alive (2008), IT REALLY IS Well (2009), and Believer (2012). The group’s eight studio room album, Glory, made an appearance in 2014. In 2015, Kutless released the Aaron Sprinkle-produced Surrender, offering the one “Reflection.”
