Krista

Inspired by places as diverse as Queen Latifah, Evanescence, and Sarah McLachlan, amongst others, singer/songwriter Krista grew up in Brooklyn by her father and grandmother following her parents separated when she was four years of age. As an adolescent, she searched for refuge by composing diaries and poetry and would ultimately drop out of senior high school at 16 to pursue musical dreams. Three years afterwards, she fulfilled the manufacturer Camus at a Suicide Town show; he’d become Krista’s coach and focus on refining her audio. The relationship would eventually result in her being agreed upon by Clive Davis, aswell as the discharge of her debut record and an appearance at Lollapalooza, both in 2008.
