Krakatau

Australian neo-prog trio Krakatau shaped at the start from the 2010s, drawing influence from both improvised astral traveling of ’70s Krautrockers as well as the even more hypnotic side of early jazz-rock fusion. Composed of drummer Dylan Lieberman, bassist Danny Smith, and synth/key pad player Wayne Tom, Krakatau’s guitar-free instrumentation pressed them to discover deeper free-form fireplace without the help of blazing solos or intensely processed guitar network marketing leads. Krakatau performed live locally for a couple of years, crafting their audio to excellence before getting into the studio room to record their 2014 debut long-player, Drinking water Near a Bridge. The completely instrumental album contains three extended explorations in psych and spaced-out prog rock and roll, the running period of each transferring the ten-minute tag.
