Kraftklub

Kraftklub were founded in ’09 2009, when rapper Felix Brummer (who have passed the alias Bernd Bass in the past) teamed up with rock-band Neon Blocks to record several songs blending indie rock and roll and German-language rap. The lineup included drummer Utmost Marschk, guitarist Steffen Israel, vocalist/guitarist Karl Schumann, and bassist Right up until Brummer (Felix’s sibling and actually called Kummer, as both Right up until and Felix will be the sons of Jan Kummer from avant-garde music group AG Geige). Kraftklub released their 1st EP, Adonis Maximus, in Feb 2010 and earned the brand new Music Award seven weeks later, which resulted in the group becoming signed with Common/Vertigo in January 2011. Kraftklub made an appearance as an starting work for the Beatsteaks, Fettes Brot, and Casper and got component in Stefan Raab’s Bundesvision Music Contest 2011 using their music “Ich Will Nicht Nach Berlin” (the music group made 5th place). In January 2012, the group released its debut recording, Mit K, which reached the very best place in the German recording charts.
