Kowton

London-based digital artist Kowton (Joe Cowton) produces sparse, bass-heavy techno that draws from U.K. garage area and dub. He’s among the cornerstone performers of Peverelist’s lauded Livity Audio label, and he’s also released a large number of well-received 12″s on similar-minded U.K. bass brands like Keysound, Hessle Sound, and All Hats. Furthermore to producing many paths with Peverelist, he’s also collaborated with Julio Bashmore and Hyetal. Kowton released his debut full-length, Electricity, on Livity Sound in 2016.
