Magnus Zingmark and Oscar Simonsson are in charge of the groundbreaking music that appears beneath the name Koop. Influenced primarily by jazz music artists, but also learning from the task of hip-hop and dance performers, Zingmark and Simonsson created the group amid the fertile Swedish jazz picture. After conference in Uppsala, the set relocated to Stockholm and started working with some collaborators, liberating their debut full-length in 1997. Sons of Koop inaugurated a fresh audio for Swedish jazz and obtained the acknowledgement of fellow Western jazz/electronica fusion numbers Jazzanova and Kruder & Dorfmeister. In 2001, the group shipped Waltz for Koop, an recording that validated their exploratory design and lent the skills of two woman vocalists, Cecilia Stalin and Yukimi Nagano. After its launch of Waltz for Koop, Compost released singles for “Summer time Sunlight” and “Shiny Evenings,” both offering remixes. The remix recording Waltz for Koop: Alternate Takes adopted in past due 2003, although their appropriate follow-up, Koop Islands, wasn’t released until 2007.
