Kool John

Based away of Richmond, California, rapper Kool John is normally a single artist in addition to a person in the Western Coast collective the HBK Gang. After offering his “Membership Combine” cassettes around senior high school, he kicked off his profession as an MC dealing with fellow rapper LoveRance. In 2011 he became a member of Iamsu!, Sage the Gemini, among others in the Bay Region collective the HBK Gang and made an appearance on the debut mixtape, Gang Forever, in 2013. In 2014 he released the single mixtape Shmop Town, its name a mention of Kool John’s Shmoplife label.
