New Jersey-bred experimental hip-hop producer Glen Boothe began producing paths beneath the pseudonym Knxwledge in ’09 2009, liberating music via MySpace and Bandcamp. His glitchy, abstract paths quickly caught the interest of the worldwide beatmaking picture, and debut LP Klouds premiered by Dublin-based All Town Records this year 2010. A relentless blast of Bandcamp produces continuing, and Knxwledge created paths for Blu, Joey Bada$$, Suzi Analogue, and additional underground hip-hop MCs. Boothe relocated to LA and became connected with Matthewdavid’s Departing Information, which released the Buttrskotch cassette in 2012, and a double-cassette anthology put together from Knxwledge’s several online produces. Second LP Kauliflowr came on All Town Information in 2013. The entire year 2014 noticed Knxwledge producing paths for Stones Toss performers Homeboy Sandman and Pyramid Vritra, having a full-length prepared for the label the next year. Knxwledge added to Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly in 2015 and released the defeat tape Hud Dreems within the Stones Toss label that same yr.
